1. History of the Fire Service
I joined that Fire Dept. at the age of 16. Through out the years I have found that there are more things then just going into a burning building and putting out the fire. I have found it is a family and a brotherhood. The development of the Fire Dept goes back to the time of Benjamin Franklin, who was the first fire chief. I want to know more about the history and the equipment that was used back then. Some questions that I want to know are things like when the first fire truck was made and when was the first horse drawn fire engine. I also want to learn about the techniques and tools that they used back then and see how different they are from today.
2. Rapelling
Ever since I have joined the fire dept I have gotten into rope rescue and also going out and rapelling for fun. Some of the things that I would be interested in would be the different techniques that are used. Also some of the more advanced equipment that is used.
3. ATV riding/racing
I have been riding ATVs since I was younger and did get into some trail racing for a few years. I am very interested in learning about motorcross racing and the techniques that are used on the track. Also I would like to know more about the ATV and the engine. Learn about how to fix certain parts that a person could do on their own.
